Steady as she goes
The snowflakes drift softly down
Blanketing my world
A screen is removed
I turn the crank to reveal
The outdoors I crave
A blast of air hits
I watch the flakes swirl and twirl
Right before my eyes
I am in a globe
Only missing fake glitter
It is the real deal
For goodness sake, already?!
Enveloped in white
Books my ready companions
Reading until my eyes droop
Under a blankie
A prone Quincy at my feet
Remembering
Yellow tulips by my side
Peaceful hugs, Margie
Great captures of your icy world, Margie. Love the yellow tulips, and your February acrostic. 🙂
I am so glad you are sharing your winter wonderland with us Margie, the winter I had in Detroit did not have this much snow!
I was born and raised here. We are setting records and it is only the beginning of February. Yikes!
Lovely, Margie.
I miss the beautiful snowfalls in Michigan! Thanks for bringing them to me in your gorgeous pictures!
Beautiful post, Margie. I like your tradition of acrostics for the months.
oh, so very cool (from here!) the first shot, the pines are reaching out and saying, ‘for the love of god!’ 🙂
Haha, I think you are right T!
