There were a few cats that hung out at the hotel keeping lizards and such at bay. Must be working as I never saw a lizard.
These guys were hanging out on the street. Definitely had that laid back island vibe going on.
And this beauty lived in the almond tree outside our hotel room. The staff said he just showed up one day and never left. I get that.
Have a laid back start to your week! Margie
Everyone is peacefully resting … must be the place for tranquility.
It’s great to see animals on vacation too- especially that beautiful parrot!
“Island Critters” is a delightful combination of the common, the exotic, the wonderful!
Excellent post. I’m still smiling.
Good ones, Margie! When I saw the heading of “island critters”, I had in my mind hermit crabs or other beach critters.
Lovely shots. Had to stop awhile and look at the first one of the cat then smiled when I saw the dogs.
The bird knows a good thing when he sees it. I found myself returning over and over to the photo with the cat and the white walls and white stones.I wonder why it draws me so. But it does.
Yep, I would have had a hard time leaving that gorgeous island š
That parrot has the right idea! Why leave?
Love the critters. It always gives me a more comfortable feeling about a business that has a cat or dog on the premises.
I would love to visit a place that has wild parrots or parakeets and many tropical birds. That would be like seeing angels in paradise. š
laughing at the bird. š glad the pups have collars on so hopefully they belong to someone and are kept well cared for. š
They all look pretty content! .
