PLAYING WITH LIGHT

The island in my kitchen, when the sun is coming through the nearby window, for about 30 minutes in the morning, provides me with the most amazing spot to be one with my camera. No better place for a still life to come to life.

Off to art class. May your week start out with a ray of sunshine. Margie

  1. Margie, I love the header. I’m so impressed that you took time to be so creative, especially during this time of year when everything is pulling on your shirt tail wanting attention. Beautiful moments of rest at this blog. Thanks

  2. margie, what kind of art class? painting, drawing, photography? i love it all, but am just taking quick snaps these days b/c of time constraints. do you teach or practice? your photos are beautiful.

    • Thanks Noreen! My art class I have been in for several years with the same peach of a teach and basically the same students. We all met there. We are pretty much inseparable, LOL. We call it art therapy! Right now I am dabbling in pastels and enjoying them very much. Just a week or so ago, I posted about getting the big kahuna kit of pastel chalks and pencils and channeled Degas in a post. Check it out. So glad you came by for a visit!

it’s worth to wait and to know those places + times in your rooms; my cat knows too; I only have to follow where she rests: and there’s the sun for some photo still life …

Thank you for letting me know you've been here!
