Oh, Margie, look at the last photo and the leaf in the middle of the photo kind of length-wise has something above it that makes it look like a small sailing ship with lots and lots of sails unfurled and a little oar hanging off the side. Do you see it?
I see it! I see it! If you look at the pine cone at the top of the photo, and the little maple seed below it, that is the boat and it is as if the wind is blowing the sail from the front. The tip of the red leaf is right at the bow. The the little stick mid way on the maple seed is the oar. You have a keen eye my friend. XO
As always, your photos just make me ooh and aaah. They’re terrific. Your eye is sooo good!
MIM!! So nice to see you here. You have been missed. Thanks for the oohs and ahs!
Looks like it’s quickly turning into snuggle season in your pocket of the world MM.
Oh it is, but still so much warmer than typical. Suppose to be 60 degrees on Friday which is crazy for this time of year. XO
sigh … I’ll miss the color! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Where do you find a camera that finds smart stuff to take pictures of? Mine only makes dead leaves look dead and calling my name to get the rake.
LOL! Hi Barb. Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. Headed your way now.
Lovely fall colors! It’s looking pretty neutral outside my window – and wet!
Rained hard here all afternoon and evening yesterday, but the sun in out this morning! Wish I could send some of the rain to TexWisGirl.
Your camera found it, and the red leaf pointed the way!

Hi Margie, What beautiful photos and all the colors. I like your phrase, “the neutrals of winter.” Ellen
So beautiful, but in such a different way. Thanks Ellen.
