LIBRARY BOOKS EXTRAORDINARE

This hand painted mural on the plaza in front of the Duluth Public Library is the amazing work of Scott Murphy. These books are 23.5 feet tall. You see, Scott likes to paint BIG, having been a billboard artist for 17 years. He clearly doesn’t mind heights either! There is a wonderful interview with him as he works on another mural for Duluth right here. This takes large print to another level don’t you think?

May we all find time to read today, Margie

    • You are funny. And, I have to confess, I like scary books, but not Stephen King. I use to read Dean Koontz as I loved that he always had a dog in it and supernatural bits. It always surprises people that I like dark characters as it is so unlike my personality. Keeps everyone guessing huh?

  1. OMG, I thought that was a picture of a bookshelf! I thought why is she reading Stephen KIng – he’s so scary LOL

Greta work. It’s amazing how a well done mural can brighten up a space. Love to see good work 🙂
