ODDBALL FALL

I say oddball, as it is almost the end of October, a handful of trees have changed, but most are still green or bare, having lost their leaves completely. Not sure we will experience a full fall color change in my area this year. Wouldn’t be surprised if many of the trees keep their leaves or just fall off when the freeze comes. This has not stopped me of course, from capturing what I can of my favorite time of year.

Enjoy it while we can! XO, Margie

  1. Looks like fall to this Southern CA girl 🙂 I wish I could go out and gather some leaves – that was my favorite thing to do this time of year when I was young.

  2. Connecting with you and my other Northern Hemisphere friends has made me more aware of the colour changes in my pocket of the world too.
As my garden bursts alive with lilac [Jacarandas], bright green and yellow there is also a good smattering of red and orange too in the new shoots of the Eucalypts [Gums].

Hoping your colour does come ’cause I know just how much pleasure you derive from a good colour mix.

    Waving from across the seas.
