THE LAST VESTIGES OF SUMMER

I captured these at Kensington Metro Park yesterday. It was more like a summer day than fall. A few wild flowers were blowing in the breeze, and the leaves on the trees were just waiting for the sign to start their fall transformation. Have a lovely start to your week.

Patiently awaiting the colors of autumn, Margie

  1. Bittersweet. So hard to say goodbye to summer, sob….. Beautiful shots – I want to know how you accomplished the second one – so ethereal.

    • It was on an embankment, so I kind of crawled up it, and was on my knees shooting up so the sun would filter through it. What we do to get that perfect shot, LOL! Missed you in class today. Tell your son he can’t get sick on a Monday!!! ( – :
