MAY YOUR DAY END LIKE HERS

“Soft Landing”

On this Monday, when your crazy, hectic day is done, may you also experience a soft landing. XO, Margie

  1. That butterfly would be a male Limenitis arthemis astyanax, a member of the brush-footed butterfly family, commonly known as an Admiral, which are plentiful in Michigan too! Usually we see the red ones, but I have seen quite a few the same color as yours this summer.

Hey Margie, I discovered the coolest moth ever last weekend, at dusk. It’s called a hummingbird moth; it moves and sounds and eats just like a hummingbird, it’s just tinier and striped! So cute, I was going nuts… well, at least my family thinks I was. It even landed on my sleeve. Joy. Couldn’t get a picture because it was too dark outside. Drat.

    Thanks for the butterfly picture.

Thank you for letting me know you've been here!
