Exactly one year ago today, I wrote the following Haiku, which leads me to believe it was basically a day just like today, except maybe not so windy.
With your orange breast/Looking for worms after rain/Moving to and fro
I hear them clearly/As they twitter from above/Perched on my chimney
Downy woodpecker/With your head so bright and red/Tapping out your tune
The air smells so fresh/When the spring rains bless the earth/And it comes alive
