“They both listened silently to the water, which to them was not just water, but the voice of life, the voice of Being, the voice of perpetual Becoming.”
― Hermann Hesse, Siddhartha

Water holds a magic all its own. I find it reflective, contemplative, healing, relaxing. I prefer to gaze upon it in silence, but enjoy the chance to ride its waves as well. Yesterday, Michael and I spent a glorious day with friends on Lake St. Clair, and watched the sun set from the docks. Delightful!
Have a lovely, short week after the holiday, and may September bring new beginnings and creative insight.
Big blue hugs, Margie

These photos were beautiful.
Very sparkly! Great shots, Margie!
Loved the quote and the pictures were perfect. Felt refreshed and grateful to have experienced the water this summer like this. Thank you for these.
You make me want to be by water again – a walk by the sea, a day fishing or perhaps a riverside walk!
Beautiful shots! I loved the color of the water.
I agree with your thoughts on water Margie. Water is soothing and makes me happy. I don’t know which is better, watching the wake from the motor or being up front watching and listening to the bow split the water. Pretty shots. Ahhhh. Enjoy your week Margie!
A beautiful series, Margie!
