Margie…I so enjoyed meeting you and Mike last evening! I am perusing your blog this morning and I am finding it fascinating and creative. Keep it coming, you havesucha creative eye!
Those “cute” little things can do mighty amounts of damage to beautiful flowers, as you show. I don’t like what Japanese beetles do, but that quote is precious!
I’m not a beetle fan. June bugs, Japanese beetles…okay…maybe lady bugs are okay. The quote is amazing. I wonder if mother mosquitoes feel the same way about their offspring?

I love that quote! I guess everyone has to live and so also the beetle.
It’s amazing how much damage those little jewel-like creatures can do.!
In Japan beetles are highly prized pets. Kept in small boxes and raced against one another.
