It’s never too late
To expand our horizons
Keep an open mind
I SIT patiently
As traffic is a given
Too bad I can’t fly
What about store lines?
Sort of like traffic in house
I STAND patiently
Off to Ann Arbor
For a day of exploring
Treasures to be found
Specialty papers
Attention grabbing colors
Which ones must I have?
Ripping and tearing
Glorious papers by hand
Makes my heart sing
My mind wont settle
It is spinning like a top
Creative chaos
Margie

Creative chaos…..Is there any other kind?
“Ripping and tearing/Glorious papers by hand…” Your haiku cards are very special. Ellen
Thank you so much Ellen. I appreciate your support. Changes are a coming to my etsy shop. Stay tuned!!
I love Haiku, simple but so expressive. Great inspiration, Margie!
Thanks so much Anne!

As a whole, your poem is wonderful. However, I must say these 3 lines jumped out at me. I know exactly how it feels to want to zoom on away from congested traffic. I’d never make it in a ‘really big’ city during rush hour, no doubt. Thanks for the chuckles.
I think everybody can relate to that one, big city or not. Glad neither of us have to deal with the big cahoona traffic jams like on the LA freeway!!
Tell me about it. I don’t know how people live in a city. I think people are just wired differently. I’ll take those country roads any day of the week!

Creative chaos
Ha, my fave – so me this week
Not the worst way to be huh dou dou?
…”creative chaos”…I love that line! Quick, jot them down on paper so they don’t fly away! As for the paper – wow – they are beautiful.
You would go crazy. That is just one little rack with basic colors and no real patterns. I liked that one too FM!
what a treat, better than a lolly shop, a real tactile rainbow and beautiful haiku!
I love how you call them lollys. We call them suckers or lollipops.
One of each?
Absolutely!!!
What a beautiful assortment of colored paper! No wonder your mind is spinning.
And that is just one small basic rack!
you were a kid in a candy store! i can tell!
You know me well T!
Yes its only an open mind that can explore and expand horizons! That’s the key! Thanks.
For sure Dilip!
Have fun exploring for new found treasures Margie! Enjoyed the haikus, except where you were stuck in traffic
Haha! Fortunately I usually don’t have to be in rush hour which makes a bit difference.
Love the photo of the paper. Nice Haiku.
Thanks Mim!
